this outfit has been in heavy rotation lately, in various incarnations. i love the mix of similar patterns of the dress and sweater in complementary colors. plus, it’s just so cozy! somehow i always end up wearing this outfit on crafty days, so maybe it has magical extra-creative powers? that’d be cool.

what’s a girl to do when it’s kinda chilly outside, but she still wants to go to the beach? why, throw on a maxi dress and bundle up with easily removable layers, of course! and don’t forget jelly sandals – so much easier to take off to walk barefoot, and no need to worry about them getting sandy! also, how great is this sweater? i went in looking for patterned leggings, but couldn’t find any that really spoke to me. this sweater though, screamed my name. obviously.
